A 340-room commercial specification in Bangkok, completed in twenty-two weeks from purchase-order to final-install sign-off — the largest single-project shipment in SUSOS history.
Siam Global House is Thailand's largest home-improvement retailer. When they decided to fit out the show bathrooms across their flagship Bangkok store and adjacent hospitality annexe — 340 rooms across two buildings — they came to us because their specification team had been testing our product for three years in smaller installations and had not raised a single warranty claim.
The specification covered wall-hung pans, concealed cisterns, basin mixers, thermostatic shower valves, and bathroom furniture across three design codes: Urban Grey, Classic White, and the Warm Timber finish that has been popular across South-East Asia since we introduced it in 2024.
The Timeline
From signed purchase order to the last container clearing Bangkok customs: twenty-two weeks. This included a four-week specification freeze while the architect revised the partitioning on floors seven through ten, a two-week hold while the cistern frame supplier in Fujian was audited, and a single re-shipment of 18 basin mixers that failed flow-rate variance testing at our Xiamen QC gate.
Week 1–4: Specification Lock
We assigned a dedicated project manager — Chen Xiaoming, who has handled hospitality specifications for six years — to work directly with the Siam Global House procurement team. The first month was spent resolving the water-pressure differential between floors: the upper floors would see 1.5 bar, the lower floors up to 3.5 bar. We specified pressure-compensating cartridges on all basin and shower fittings above floor eight.
Week 5–16: Production and QC
Production ran across three lines simultaneously. Every fourth pan was pull-tested at 240-cycle flush before packing. Basin mixers were 100% flow-rate and leak-tested. Furniture panels were humidity-cycled for 72 hours before shipment. The two-week cistern-frame audit was the only delay we had not anticipated.
Week 17–22: Delivery and Install
Fourteen 20-foot containers, phased across three shipments to match the construction programme. The Siam Global House team handled installation with their own crew; we provided one technical representative on-site for the first three weeks of installation to work through any field queries. Final punch-list: eleven items. All resolved within five working days.
What The Client Said
"The quality consistency across 340 rooms — same finish, same feel, same operation — is what surprised us most. We have worked with suppliers who cannot hold that across forty rooms."
We are grateful to the Siam Global House specification team for their patience through the partition redesign and for treating our QC hold as the correct decision rather than a delay. That is the kind of client relationship we build slowly and keep for decades.
